Salem Cyber, a Winston-Salem cybersecurity startup, has raised $250,000 in seed funding with plans to hire to expand its capabilities.
According to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Salem Cyber raised $225,000 from five investors. CEO Jon Bagg told WRAL TechWire that the company closed an additional $25,000 for a total of $250,000 in its seed round. Bagg said the startup is looking to hire to expand capabilities and meet product-market fit.
